Note on feature limitations: Using the attachment feature when sending a group email will NOT send the attachment to the recipient. This feature only creates a link back to CCL Community and requires a person to be logged in to view the "attachment."
Workaround: To make a file available without logging in to Community, upload the file to Google Drive or something similar with the proper sharing permissions and include a link to the document in the email.
How to attach a file to a group email
When sending an email to the members of a Community group and you would like to attach a file, follow the steps below:
1. Click on the paper clip icon in the editor.
2. Select a file to upload by clicking on the "Choose File" button or select a file you've already uploaded.
3. If uploading, type in a title name for the file (required) and then click "Post" on the bottom to upload.
Your file(s) will then appear at the bottom of the email editor with the provided name and the ability to click the "x" to un-attach it.
4. Finally, finish composing the rest of your post or message and click "Send Message.".
