Are you not receiving email communications from your CCL chapter, Action Team, or another group’s Group Leader or Group Admin? If so, go to these pages and change notification settings to fix this problem.
1. Your group homepage
Go to the home page of your group, CCL Chapter or Action Team. On the left side at the bottom, click on the “Settings” link.
It will default to showing you a “Notifications” tab with a list of events and actions. At the bottom, you will see a choice for:
“Notify me of emails from the leader of this group or team as soon as they are sent.”
Check the box for that action, and then select the blue “Save” button to save changes.
2. Account Settings
Also take a look at notifications on the Account Settings page. If the notification box there to receive emails from anyone is unchecked, that will override your group page and you will not receive emails from your Group Leader, even if the notification is correctly set up on your group page.
Mouseover your name on the top right of any page. Select “Account Settings.” Then select the “Notification” tab. The first item in the list is:
“Email me when someone sends me a message (this includes messages sent by a group or action team leader)”
Be sure this item is checked and select “Save” at the bottom to save your changes.
