How to reset your forgotten CCL Community password
Note: Many email providers route or filter password resets to Spam or Trash. Step 1 will ensure all Community emails, including password reset emails, are routed to your inbox.
To reset a forgotten password
- Add "cclcommunity@citizensclimate.org" to your address book or trusted contacts list.
- Open a web browser and go to this page.
- Or, from the login area, select "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your email address and verify you're not a robot.
- Click "Send."
Note: If you receive the "Email address not found. Please try again" message, follow these troubleshooting instructions. - You will receive an email with the subject line, "CCL Community Update: CCL Community Account Recovery."
- If you didn't receive the confirmation email, please check your Spam folder and confirm that cclcommunity@citizensclimate.org is allowed in your inbox (step 1 above).
- Open the email and click the "Reset Password" link.
- Think of a password that's a minimum of 6 characters, including at least one uppercase letter and at least one number or a special character.
- Record your new password on paper or in your password keeper.
- Enter your new password in the "New Password" field.
- Enter your new password in the "Confirm Password" field.

- Click "Reset Password."
- You have now reset your password and will be asked to use it to log in to Community.
