For Chapter Development actions, you can share a link with other participants that will allow them to easily log that they attended a meeting or event. This will prevent organizers from having to know the name and chapter of each participant when logging the attendance of an event since it can now be captured automatically.
To share a link with other participants, perform the following steps:
- Prior to the event, log into the action tracker and log your action.
- Fill in the initial details and click the "Submit" button to complete logging the action (adding other participants this way requires you to submit the action
- Once submitted, you will be able to the edit page for your action. Scroll down to the "Who participated?" section.
- Click the button labeled "Share With Participants" (see below)
Options for sharing
You should then see a popup with ways to share the action. You can choose to either:
- Copy a link to paste in Zoom chat or an email
- Copy a QR code for use in a slide deck
- Or print a QR code for in-person scanning
Printing a QR Code
If you choose to print a QR code it will open a new page. Then you would choose to print the page from your browser.
Success Page
After a user clicks a share link or scans a QR code, they should receive a page similar to the one below with a link to the action.
