Help about CCL strategy, policies, and climate information
Help with technical errors or additional help with any question
CCL Community has an extensive section of help and support articles called the “Knowledge Base.” It contains information and instructions about:
- Navigating the CCL Community website
- How to use CCL Community tools and features such as the Sitewide Forums and ActionTracker
- Resolving problems like updating your profile and membership questions
There are several ways to access the Knowledge Base:
1. Click on the green “Help Button” that hovers on the bottom left side of every CCL Community page.
This will display a pop-up widget with suggested articles relating to the page you are on, as well as a text field to enter a question. The widget will then display articles relating to your question. You can ask additional questions, or send a message to the help desk.
2. Click on “Help” in the top menu of any page on CCL Community’
This will open the Knowledge Base directly. Use the search field to find information on what you are looking for. Or, browse the articles listed in the various sections like Exploring CCL Community.
You can also pose questions in the Ask Us Anything forum
Another way to learn about the features of CCL Community is to take a CCL Community Tour. This page, which is linked from the top menu “Resources and Training” dropdown, contains guided tours of key CCL Community features.
Help about CCL strategy, policies, and climate information
CCL Community has a section with links to a large number of training videos on a wide variety of topics from Lobbying Congress to Climate Science. Click on the link “All Training Topics” in the “Training and Resources” dropdown on the top menu of every page. If a topic you are interested in is not covered in a training video, try searching in the Sitewide Forums.
Another way to find out more about CCL strategy and activities is to contact your chapter Group Leader or State Coordinator. They will be more than glad to answer questions.
Help with technical errors or additional help with any question
If you see an error on CCL Community or need further help beyond what you found in the Knowledge Base, submit a help ticket. This will be received and responded to by one of our support staff.
There are three ways to submit a help ticket:
1. Click on the green “Help” button on the bottom left of every CCL Community page. Enter your question, and then choose the option “"Get In Touch," and leave a message.
2. Go to the Knowledge Base help articles. On the top right corner, click on “Submit a Request.”
3. Send an email to help@citizensclimate.org.
When reporting an error or bug include:
- The URL in the browser address bar of the page you were on
- What you were doing when the error occurred,
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- What browser you were using
- For best results take a screenshot.
