While the CCL Community website is open to anyone on the internet to view, many of its best features are not available unless you have a CCL Community account and can login with an email and a password.
New members who join via the CCL public website (citizensclimatelobby.org) will automatically be registered with a CCL Community account. They will receive a welcome email from CCL that informs them what CCL chapter they have been connected with and what their temporary CCL Community password is.
New members can then change the temporary password to one of their own choosing. Once they login for the first time, they will begin to receive notifications.
Members who join indirectly, such as signing up at a tabling or outreach event or opting in on a constituent letter will be added to CCL Community by the Group Leader of the appropriate chapter. Then they will also receive a welcome email with a temporary password.

- View information about an CCL-sponsored national or local event and sign up for that event.
- Join and view a BRIDGE training.
- View or interact with our Action Tracker tool.
- View or use tools on our CCL Community Tool page, including membership, lobby meeting, and online action tools to contact members of Congress. .
- Bookmark a page so you can easily return to it.
- Join an Action Team of members with shared interests and participate in their forum.
- View and participate in Sitewide Forums with topics of general interest.
- View and search a database of all CCL members.
- Communicate online with other members.
Also, when you sign up with CCL and get registered on CCL Community, you will receive a series of informative emails over a period of weeks that will introduce you to CCL and suggest actions you may want to take such as attending an introductory info session or connecting with your local chapter.
